Description

This barn, located at the southeast corner of the farmyard south of Stonelands, dates from the mid-18th century. It features a timber frame set on a plinth of sandstone rubble and brick, with weatherboard cladding and a half-hipped plain tiled roof. The barn is rectangular in shape and has pentice extensions on the northeast side and the east end. It consists of five framed bays with central opposing wagon entries and a queen-strut staggered purlin roof. This barn is part of a notable group of barns and farm buildings that maintain their original arrangement within the farmyard.
