Description

This barn, located at the northeast corner of the farmyard south of Stonelands, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a plinth made of brick and sandstone rubble, with weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped at the east end. The barn is rectangular in shape and has pentice extensions at the east end and southeast side. It consists of five framed bays with central opposing wagon entries and two loft doors on the upper walls of the north side. This barn is part of a notable group of barns and farm buildings that retain their original courtyard layout.
