Description
This granary, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 10 metres south-south-west of Nelmes Farmhouse. It features a timber-framed upper floor with a combination of brick and wattle-and-daub infill, while the ground floor is constructed from sandstone rubble and topped with a tiled roof. The building is oriented north to south and has external steps leading up to the granary, along with a lower door situated in the north gable end. It consists of two storeys, with blocked window openings on the stone ground floor. The first floor has two square panels and V-struts in the gable. Please note that Nelmes Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
