Description
This granary, dating from the 18th century, is located about 15 yards south of Moor Court Farmhouse. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a pantile roof. The building has three bays oriented north to south and consists of two levels. The east elevation includes two loops on the left and one on the right of a ledged door, which is slightly off-center to the right. The north gable has a set of tallet stairs leading to the upper level, along with another ledged door. Inside, the granary has collar trusses, with the collars supported by two posts that are tied back to the principal beams. This structure is noted as a complete example and is included for its group value.
