Description
Whitecross Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1785. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with external sandstone end stacks featuring detached brick shafts, and it has a Welsh slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan that is roughly aligned north to south and consists of three storeys.
On the first floor, there are three windows: late 18th century segmentally headed casements with three lights in the outer windows and two lights in the centre window. The top floor has two casements, each with three lights, on the left and right sides. There is a late 19th century hipped canopy and canted bay windows on either side of a glazed central door. Additionally, there is a two-storey late 19th century domestic wing attached to the right-hand gable.
