Description
This is a barn located about 115 metres north-west of Chandos, likely built in the early 18th century. It was relocated to its current position north of Chandos in the late 20th century. The barn is timber-framed with woven panels, weatherboards, and a corrugated iron roof. It consists of three bays that are aligned roughly east to west. On the north elevation, there is a central opposed entry leading to the threshing floor, with woven riven oak infill panels in the top row of framing to the right of the entry. The frame is heavily constructed, featuring four square panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. The west gable end is weather-boarded. Inside, there are raking struts connecting the ties to the principals.
