Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has plastered infill, a tiled roof, and stone end stacks on the right side. The building consists of two or three structural bays arranged in a north-west to south-east alignment and has one storey with an attic.
The elevation facing the road features two late 20th-century casement windows with two lights, positioned to the right of a gabled porch. There are also two gabled late 20th-century dormers that contain three-light casements. The timber frame consists of three panels in height from the cill to the wall-plate, with the panels being irregularly shaped. The south gable has V-struts extending from the collar and has a thinner scantling compared to the front elevation.
