4/51 Hallend Farmhouse and attached wall, railings, gates and gate piers to east-north-east

GV II

Farmhouse. Early C19 with late C19 extensions. Brick with stone porch, hipped roof and end stacks. Two storeys, three by two bays, glazing-bar sashes under gauged brick heads, two Tuscan columns to porch, glazed door with fanlight. Extension to north has dentilled brick eaves cornice. Railings, gates and wall extend from east side of north extension and return towards the south; railings and two-leaved gates have rails with spear-heads; two bars to railings, four to gates with diagonal reinforcing bars to bottom; gate piers have urn finials; coped dwarf wall about 2 feet 6 inches high beneath railings; single-leaf matching gate adjacent to house. The farmhouse is said to have been built in 1824.
