Description
Bridge House is a cottage, probably from the 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and sandstone rubble, topped with a pantiled roof and an external rubble end stack. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, which are late 19th to early 20th century two-light glazing bar casements. There is a gabled timber porch with a ledged early 20th century door located to the right of the centre. The right-hand ground-floor window has a brick segmental head, and the area around it is finished with rubble, featuring a single row of panelling alongside the window above. The frame elsewhere consists of four panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. Additionally, there is a lean-to extension at the left end.
