Description
The building is a garage workshop located approximately 10 metres south of Moorend Farmhouse. Its original function is uncertain, but it is now used as a garage and workshop, and it may have previously been a house. The structure dates back to the 17th century and is timber-framed with some brick infill. The west side has been refaced, and it features weatherboard cladding and a corrugated metal roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned north to south, which are obscured by a later lean-to on the west side. The main entrance is located in the north gable end. The framing is largely intact, with three panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and the trusses include two struts to the collar and V-struts at the apex.
