Description
This building is a barn that has been converted into workshops. It dates from the 17th century and has been altered, featuring a corrugated iron lean-to at the rear. The barn is clad in brown brick and is supported by cruck frames. It has a steeply pitched roof covered with corrugated sheeting. There is a stone plinth in parts, and the structure consists of four bays, with three crucks still visible. The end walls are made of brick, and the south wall has two blocked openings. The rear wall includes timber framing and brick nogging. The second bay has a stone plinth, and the entrance from the rear into this bay now features steel doors. This bay also has a stone flag threshing floor, while the other floors are raised. In the northeast corner, there is a broad brick pilaster strip on a stone plinth, and part of a brick band is located below the eaves. The right-hand bay is constructed from the oldest brick.
