Description
The farm buildings at Laurel Farm date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and are arranged on two sides of a yard. They are constructed of brick, with roofs made of slate and corrugated sheeting, which are pitched at a curious angle. The roadside range is canted and consists of three bays. The barn features tall double doors and air vents arranged in a diamond pattern. The central and left sections of the barn have three rectangular windows each, some of which include glazing bars and additional air vents. The canted bay contains a pitch hole. On the yard side, there are altered ground floor openings, with a cart house located at the right end. The first-floor openings in the barn have rounded heads.
