Description

This barn, located approximately 10 metres south of Moorend Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and is topped with a corrugated iron roof. The framing consists of three rows of square panels. The front wall has openings that are irregularly spaced, including two wide doorways positioned towards the centre. The roof is half-hipped on the left side. In the left-hand gable wall, an exposed truss shows struts connecting the tie-beam and collar. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in June 1986.
