Description

The Corner Barn and Cruck Barn are farm buildings located on Church Lane in Eldersfield. They were likely built in the mid-19th century, although they incorporate earlier elements. Constructed from stone rubble with a tile roof, the buildings are arranged in an L-shape and are single storey. They serve as a connection between the cruck barn, known as The Old Barn, and the cowshed, referred to as the Long Barn. The west wall, which faces the church, features a window with a doorway to the right, and there is a brick addition on the left side. The north wall displays some exposed framing in square panels towards the east.
