Description
This tomb chest, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately one metre north of the Church of St Mary, to the west of the porch. It is made of sandstone and features a moulded top that sweeps up to a longitudinal ridge. The corners are square balusters with fluting and gadroon decoration. The inscribed tablets have re-entrant corners, and one of the inscriptions includes "James Bond ..... 1783 .....".
