Description

This building, located at 3 High Street, is a house that has been converted into flats. It dates from the 18th century and was restored in 1977. The exterior is finished in stucco, topped with a gable roof covered in composite tiles, and features a rendered stack on the right side. The building stands four storeys high and has a single-window range. The ground, first, and second floors each have a modern tripartite window with a combination of 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sashes, while above, there is a 1/1, 3/3, and 1/1 sash window. A moulded band and frieze adorned with garlands lead to a moulded pediment, supported by paired Corinthian pilasters resting on rusticated bases, which also feature a moulded storey band.

On the left side, there is a tier of 4/4 sash windows and returned bands. A passage leads to the rear, which contains a modern door. The rear of the building has two modern 6/6 sash windows on the first floor, an early 19th-century sash window on the second floor, and a modern casement window in the gable. The ground floor features a late 19th-century tripartite window with 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sashes.
