Description

The Clinton monument, located about 6 yards south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Bartholomew, is a chest tomb dedicated to Frances Clinton, who died in the 1820s. It is made of finely carved sandstone and features a hipped capping. The tomb has a moulded base with plain, deeply curved corner balusters. Each side panel contains rosettes at the corners of the inner inscription panels.
