Description
102 and 104 South Street are two houses that feature an 18th century front with a 16th century core. They are constructed of painted brick and topped with a steep-pitched Welsh slate roof. There is a brick stack on the right front and a rendered brick party stack on the left. The buildings are two storeys high and have a two-window range with 20th century casements set beneath segmental arches. The entrances are located in the centre and feature 20th century doors, along with two 20th century casements and segmental arches. At the rear, there is 16th century timber-framing with curved braces and plaster infill, along with two 20th century two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to contain exposed timber-framing.
