Description
Nos. 106, 108, and 110 on South Street are three houses dating from the 16th century, which were remodeled in the early 19th century. They are timber-framed with colourwashed brick fronts and Welsh slate roofs featuring brick ridge stacks. The buildings are two storeys high, each with a single-window range. No. 110, on the left, has horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor and a six-panel vertical door, while Nos. 106 and 108 have 20th-century windows and doors.
Inside, No. 108 displays heavy square panel framing with curved braces visible in the party and rear walls. The roofs were renewed in the early 19th century, but may have reused some earlier timbers. The interiors of Nos. 106 and 110 have not been inspected.
