8/78 Lodge about 150 yards north-west of Homme House

GV II

Lodge. Probably early C19. Roughly coursed sandstone rubbie, slate roof, octagonal brick stack at junction of two wings. T-plan with central project- ing wing to drive on north-east side. Two storeys. North-east elevation has two windows, each with 2-centred head and 2-light casement in form of Y-tracery, on first floor, one either side of gabled latticed porch; return elevations each have another pair of matching Y-traceried windows to first floor over falling ground and segmentally-headed openings to ground floor; moulded bargeboards with pendants at apices. The building is a lodge to Homme House (qv).
