Description
SK 55 SW ANNESLEY MANSFIELD ROAD (south east side) 6/7 Annesley Lodge II Lodge, now a house. Mid C19 and late C19. Coursed and squared rubble and brick with plain tile roofs. Stone dressings, chamfered plinth, quoins, chamfered and dentillated eaves, coped gables with kneelers and finials. Large moulded central ridge stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Double depth plan. Windows are cross mullioned casements with splayed reveals. South west front has projecting gable to left with canted hipped bay window with moulded cornice and hood mould. Above, cross casement. To right, set back gabled porch with four centred arched door and coped gable with finial. Behind porch, canted stair turret, 2 stages. Octagonal upper stage with octagonal pyramid roof. North west side has canted bay window and to right, a casement. North east end has flat roofed single storey addition, C19, to left, and casement to right. Above, 2 casements. South east side has 2 casements. Above, to right, C20 casement. Principal rafter softwood roof with collars.
