Description

The Railway Overbridge, built around 1875, is a Grade II listed structure that now supports a coal conveyor. It is constructed from cast iron and rockfaced ashlar, featuring a chamfered plinth. The bridge has a single segmental-headed arch with pierced spandrels and a dentillated sill. A moulded iron balustrade with cusped lancet openings adds to its architectural detail.
