Description

The Southern Bridge in People's Park, built around 1856, is a Grade II* listed cast iron bridge. It features decorative elements on the spandrels and a shallow segmental arch, along with a balustrade. The bridge is supported by stone abutments, which have dies that bear urns made of white marble, although one urn is missing. This bridge is part of a group of listed buildings located on Park Road.
