Description

The threshing barn, located north of the crewyard at Hall Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a roof made of plain tiles and asbestos cement. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays.

On the south side, there is a central pair of doors flanked by three breathers, with eight additional breathers located above. The east gable includes two breathers and a rectangular opening above. The north side features a pair of central sliding doors with a timber lintel, also flanked by three breathers, and has eight breathers above.

Inside, the barn has a half-height loft and a principal rafter roof that includes butt purlins, collars, struts, and wind braces, which have been restored.
