Description

The gatepier at South Lodge, Annesley Hall, dates from the late 17th century and is constructed of ashlar and brick. It features a chamfered square base that supports a square column with ashlar quoins and a moulded cornice. The design includes a curved pedestal topped with a ball finial, and there is a rebated gate strike on one side.
