Description

The Lodge is a lodge house located at the entrance to Wavendon House, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of greensand stone rubble and features a hipped slate roof with a central brick stack, canted ends, and wide eaves. The building is one storey tall. The front has a plain central door flanked by slender Doric columns that support the eaves, with a canted bay window on each side. To the left, there is a wing that is set back, which has a parapet, a small window, and a semi-circular headed blank recess.
