Description

The Fisher Monument is a chest tomb located approximately 10 meters north-east of the east end of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The monument features a moulded plinth and a raised capping, with gadrooned balusters at the corners flanking a rectangular inscription panel that has an oval inset. Below the capping, there is an implied frieze with roll moulding underneath. The inscription on the monument is largely illegible.
