Description
This is a pedestal tomb dating from the early 19th century, located approximately 35 meters west of the west tower of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a square set with a moulded base and capping that has a low pyramidal shape. The tomb is adorned with gadrooned corner balusters that flank rectangular inscription panels, and there is a frieze of fluting below the capping. This tomb is one of several memorials in the churchyard that enhance the overall setting of the church.
