Description
Goodrich House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, possibly representing the remodelling of an earlier gabled house, as suggested by the centrally located second floor windows. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. It has a double depth plan with a central entrance and features coped gable end stacks and coped verges. The house stands three storeys high with a parapet, two string courses, and rusticated quoins. It has five main bays, with glazing bar sash windows, and narrow glazing bar sash windows flanking the central bay on the ground and first floors. The entrance is highlighted by a central Tuscan portico with a 20th-century ledged door.
