Description
This is a group of three monuments located about 25 yards west-northwest of the south porch of the Church of St Mary.
The first is a chest tomb for Edward Fisher, who died in 1784. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a flat moulded top, curved end panels, and an inscription panel with a moulded incised surround and quadrant corners.
The second tomb is for James Fisher, who died in 1823. This chest tomb is also made of sandstone ashlar and has a slightly hipped moulded capping, with fluted panels on either side of a raised inscription panel that is set in a margin with quadrant corners.
The third chest tomb commemorates James Fisher, who died in 1795. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and has a flat capping with moulded edges, curved end panels, and side inscription panels that feature margins with quadrant corners.
