Farmhouse. Probably C17 with mid-C19 and early C20 alterations. Timber- frame, sandstone rubble with roughcast finish; Welsh slate roof and three brick stacks, the external end stack to south-west with rubble base. Rectangular lobby-entry plan aligned south-west/north-east. One storey and attic. South elevation to garden has three irregularly placed raking- top early C20 dormers, one to the left-hand side with three lights, the others, one either side of the roughly central stack, are of two lights; ground floor has three casements each of three lights, the outer ones probably mid-C19 under segmental heads, entry to right of centre in glazed early C20 porch. Interior has C17 ledged doors with strap hinges, timber- framed north wall masked by early C20 extension; heavy stop-chamfered ceil- ing beams with subsidiary stop-chamfered beams and segmentally-headed blocked opening between two principal rooms to north of central stack.
