Rectory, now house. Possibly C17 origins with alterations and enlargements in early and late C19. Roughly coursed sandstone rubble, brick, Welsh slate roofs, brick stacks. Rectangular plan aligned north-west/south-east. Two storeys with attics and cellars. Garden front to north has 1:1:1 windows, glazing bar sashes, gable fronts withcusped bargeboards to left and right, central porch with glazed late C19 two-leaved door; attached to right-hand side is a two-storey late C19 out-building. Interior noted as having open well early C19 staircase with stick balusters, mahogany handrail and carved brackets. North gable has early C19 first floor 2-light casement identical to those used in the nearby stables (qv). The house occupies a prominent position close to the Church of St Mary (qv) and is included for group value.
