Description
The Church of St Michael is a parish church built in 1865 by G C Haddon of Hereford. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The church has a nave with a north porch and a chancel with a north vestry. The nave includes a plinth and raised verges, with the north front showcasing a gabled porch to the right of a group of three trefoil-headed lights and a group of two similar lights with a trefoil above. To the left, the gable end of the vestry has two slim lights with a transom, and there is a single trefoil-headed light further left in the chancel. Inside, the church contains fragments of 17th-century woodwork on the west wall depicting the Annunciation and Nativity, which are likely of foreign origin, as well as a 17th-century panelled pulpit and a 17th-century lectern.
