Description

Dore Bridge is a bridge over the River Dore, likely built in the early 19th century, although it may have earlier origins. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings. The bridge features two spans, each with segmental arches and dressed voussoirs. On each side, there are cutwaters that rise into a refuge at the center, flanked by cambered parapets with flat copings.
