Description

This barn, located about 30 yards west of Court Farmhouse, dates from the mid- to late 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, sitting on a rubble plinth with a tiled roof. The barn has approximately five bays that are aligned east to west and is accessed from the south. It features tall rectangular panels and a king post roof. Due to the slope of the ground towards the pond on the north side, the rubble plinth is taller on that side. A mid-19th century brick cross-wing at the west end is not included in this listing.
