Description
The White House is a farmhouse that likely has origins in the 17th century but was completely remodeled in the early 19th century. It features timber framing in the gable ends and a catslide rear extension, while the rest of the structure is made of painted brick with a slate roof that is hipped to the left. The building is two storeys high and has four windows with irregularly spaced glazing bar sashes set under segmental heads. There is an arched doorway located below the second window from the left, which includes a simple fanlight and a glazed door. The house has end chimneys. The timber framing in the west gable consists of three plus one panels high, indicating that the original part of the house is now partly incorporated in the lean-to rear outshut.
