Description
This barn, located about 50 yards south of Poston Court Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It features finely coursed rubble, brick, and timber-frame construction, with some areas partially weatherboarded. The roof is made of stone slate and slate. The barn is probably five bays in length and is aligned northeast to southwest. The north elevation has exposed panelling with woven infill, consisting of three panels high. There are five entries on the north side, with three located in the weatherboarded section to the west and two in the eastern part. Additionally, there is a cross perforation for breathers in the brick infill of the exposed timber-frame in the eastern section. The interior has not been inspected.
