Description
Poston Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 18th century. It features finely coursed rubble on the main elevations, with brick at the rear, and has slate hipped roofs with U-plan ridges. The building has a roughly rectangular shape, oriented towards the south-west, and is two storeys high. It has a total of eight windows, which are 16-pane sashes set under flat arches with keystones. The entrance is located on the south-east return and consists of a ledged door. Inside, it is said to have stop-chamfered beams, although access to the interior was refused. The property is complemented by square gate piers with ball-finials that align with the entrance.
