Farmhouse. Early C17 with C19 alterations. Rubble and timber-frame with wattle-and-daub infill, partially rendered. L-plan, wings extending to north and west; north/south wing floored hall of 2 roof bays, lean-to kitchen to north; east/west gabled, upper floor framed in 2 bays; stack at junction with adjoining staircase; large brick stack to front of kitchen. East front: 2 storeys and attic to east/west cross wing, 2-light casement in gable, first floor 3-light casement, ground floor: entrance with wood frame, ledged door, battered C19 butteress to right. Hall range of one storey with attic lit by gabled dormer, 3-light window to left with ovolo mullions and square label, entrance has gabled canopy on wooden posts, 2-light metal casement to right. There is a 4-light ovolo mullioned window to rear wall of hall. In south wall of east/west wing a 3-light window to ground floor with diamond mullions. Framing: not visible as covered by render externally. Interior: chamfered ceiling beams with pyramid stops in hall. (RCHM 1, p 216, no 19).
