Description

This is an outbuilding located about 10 metres north of The Boot Inn, dating from the 17th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with painted brick and wattle-and-daub infill, set on a coursed rubble plinth, and has a corrugated asbestos roof. The building consists of one framed bay oriented north to south. The west front is a single storey with an attic, which is illuminated by a fixed casement window on the right-hand gable. The central entrance has a plain wooden architrave and a ledged and boarded door, with a single-light casement window on each side. The framing includes two rectangular panels at the top, with the lower panel divided into two square panels.
