Description
This is an outbuilding located immediately behind The Manor House, dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, with restoration work completed in 1929. The structure features a timber frame with mostly 20th-century brick infill and rebuilding on the ground floor, topped with a 20th-century tile roof.
The outbuilding is single-storey with an attic and has a two-window range. The front entrance includes a plank door and an inserted window, while the rear has a similar entrance, two windows, and a dormer. One end of the building retains some original brick infill in the gable and features a canted bay window, with a window on the first floor and another above it.
Inside, there is one truss with an arch-braced tie and collar, along with a king strut, crossed ends to the principals, and wind braces. Some of the floor joists have been renewed. This outbuilding is included for its group value with The Manor House.
