Description

Church Cottage, in Lower Quinton, dates to the 17th century. It is a timber-frame house with plaster infill, although a small section of the ground floor on the right-hand side has brick infill. The house has a steeply pitched thatched roof with a stone stack on one side and a brick stack along the ridge. The plan is based on three units. The exterior is two storeys with a four-window front. The main entrance is at the rear of the property. Windows are casements, some with single or two lights, and mostly have leaded glazing along with wrought-iron casement fasteners. The interior has not been inspected.
