Description
This is a row of three cottages located in Lower Quinton, dating from the 17th century with a later addition. The cottages are constructed with a timber frame and have painted brick infill set on a rubble plinth, with a brick addition. They feature steeply pitched thatched roofs and two brick axial stacks. The layout consists of a four-unit plan with a two-unit addition on the right end.
The cottages are single storey plus attic and have a five-window range. There are three entrances, each with 20th-century plank doors. The ground floor has six windows, while the attic features five raking dormers, all fitted with two-light small-paned casements. The framing is irregular but primarily square. The rear of the cottages is similar, also featuring three dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
