Description

This outbuilding, located at Number 46, dates to the late 16th or 17th century. It is constructed with a rubble stone plinth and pads, wattle and daub and brick infilling between the timber frame, and a Welsh slate roof. The building has a small lean-to projecting from the left side, a door, and a pair of carriage doors. A three-light fixed window is situated at the right end. The timber framing of the building retains the wall posts. Inside the left end wall, a pair of cruck blades are visible, along with a tie beam, collar, and single-purlin roof with braces. A tie-beam truss with collar is also present. A wall divides the interior at this point.
