Description

Eaton House is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of red brick with a painted wooden cornice and a Swithland slate roof featuring brick end stacks. The building has three storeys and displays three 2/2 sash windows with gauged brick lintels. On the ground floor, there is a rectangular bay with similar sash windows and a hipped leaded roof, flanking a central doorway. This doorway is flanked by small 20th-century one-light windows and has a curved leaded canopy supported by iron brackets. The entrance features a six-panelled door with glazed top panels and an overlight that follows the curve of the canopy. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing and a 20th-century extension.
