Description

No. 50 on Main Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, which has been whitewashed and rendered on the front, and features a rubble stone plinth in parts. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has a whitewashed brick ridge stack on the left side. The building has two storeys, with two sets of three-light centre-opening casements on the upper floor, and a three-light window with top lights and three two-light casements on the ground floor. The entrance door is located at the left end of the cottage. Inside, there are chamfered beams, two inglenooks, and tie beam trusses that are visible.
