Description
This is a barn located about 10 yards north-north-east of Aylhill, likely built in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a slate roof, consisting of four bays that are aligned roughly north to south and has two levels. The west elevation includes a ledged cart entry in the second bay from the right, a steel window from the mid-20th century to the right, a ledged door in the left bay, and a loft door to the left of the cart entry. The frame consists of three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. Inside, there are raking struts from the ties to the principals on each side of the cart entry, and two posts from the ties to the collars elsewhere in the barn.
