Description
This is an aisled barn located about 30 meters north-northwest of Manor Farm House, dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. The barn features a timber frame that is weatherboarded with a brick base and has a corrugated iron roof. It consists of four bays, with the end facing the house being open and having a hipped, very steeply pitched roof. There are steps leading up to a door on the right side, and two inserted windows on the end that faces the road. Inside, the barn has jowled wall and arcade posts, arched braces connecting the arcade posts to the tie beams and arcade plates, and braces from the wall posts to the aisle ties. It also includes double butt purlins and angled struts from the tie beams to the principals.
