Description

This is a farmhouse, likely dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill, and has a tiled roof. A stone external end stack is present, along with a detached brick shaft. The original house comprised two bays, aligned roughly east to west, and includes a cellar and two storeys. The south elevation features two windows on each floor, with 20th-century glazing bar casements to the first floor and a 3-light 20th-century casement under a weatherboarded hood over each side of a 20th-century door located right of centre. The gable tops are weatherboarded. A single-storey extension from the early 19th century, finished in roughcast, projects from the south-east corner, while a similar brick extension is located on the north side.
