2/119 Two Woodward memorials approximately 1 m north of Chancel of Church of St Deinst

GV II

Pair of chest tombs on common plinth. Early C19. Ashlar. Moulded plinth and capping, hipped to western tomb, with fluted bands flanking lozenge- shaped inset to inscription panel. Formerly in railed enclosure on raised platform with moulded outer edge and sited above vault. Western tomb commemorates Robert Woodward of Treworgan, died 1830. Inscription panel of eastern tomb illegible.
